This is a free class for pregnant women and their partners. It is ideal to take this class in the early part of pregnancy, although fitting anytime during or before pregnancy.
You will learn about changes that occur in the woman’s body during pregnancy, as well as changes that the partner may experience. We focus on providing information about staying healthy and low risk through good nutrition and exercise, and present an introduction to pregnancy exercises and relaxation to keep you comfortable during your pregnancy. We also discuss selecting a childbirth education class that will best meet your needs as you prepare for the birth of your baby. A nutritious snack is provided.
